This is one of the best pizza's I've had, for real. So easy, just used ingredients I already had! Super quick and delicious!! Give it a go, you won't regret it!
Ingredients:
Sauce:
1 tbsp oil
1 cup non dairy milk
2 tbsp flour
2 cloves garlic
Salt
Pepper
Rosemary
Pizza:
Vegan pizza base (store bought or homemade)
Pre-made white sauce
Thinly sliced potatoes
Fresh basil
Rosemary
Salt
Pepper
Oil
Vegan cheese
Hot sauce (optional)
Recipe:
1. In a small pot, add oil and finely chopped garlic and let sauté for a couple minutes. Add the non dairy milk and flour and whisk well. Be sure not to burn. Cook until it thickens, if mixture is too thick add more milk. Season with salt, pepper and rosemary as desired. Set aside until ready to coat pizza base.
2. Thinly slice potato so you can almost see through it. Lightly spread your white sauce over the pizza base, and cover with potato sliced. Sprinkle a couple leaves of basil, shredded cheese, and add salt and pepper. Drizzle with oil and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until crisp, and potato is cooked through.
3. Once cooked, top with fresh basil, rosemary, salt, pepper and if desired another drizzle of oil and hot sauce. Serve and enjoy!
